雖然節目無法達到最佳的效果，然而我們已經達到我們在醫院唱歌的目的，因為我們能透過我們的歌曲將信息傳給更多人。我們誠心希望歌曲裡的信息能將福音的種子種在聆聽者的心思意念中。

Location：Tai An Hospital

 

It was a cold thursday morning when 316 members woke up early to hurry over to Tai An Hospital. This morning’s programme differed from the usual church programs because we will be singing at the lobby of the hospital instead!

 

This proved a tremendous challenge for all of us because we would firstly not be singing to an audience, but just passer bys that happen to be at the hospital. Secondly, unlike stage lights where we can switch off and on to control the mood, hospital lights need to be on at all times. Hence many of us wondered how we would be able to sing out the emotion of the song without the help of lighting and to captivate the onlookers to tell them the message of the song.

 

Upon arriving at the hospital, we were greeted by the conference president and his wife that introduced us to the hospital staff and the pastor in charge. They were extremely helpful that were patient with us while we were setting up and really supportive with the equipment and tools that we needed.

 

As the program started, it attracted a lot of onlookers at the hospital that came by to look and listen to our songs. As the program progressed on, we noticed that people would normally stay for the duration of an entire song before they left, or they would just watch on. We were really excited by this as we knew that the messages within the songs were received by the audiences, and that was what mattered.

 

Although the entire program did not achieve its full effect, we had already achieved our goal for singing in the hospital because we were able to reach more people with our songs. We sincerely hope that the messages in these songs were able to plant gospel seeds in the minds and hearts of those that had listened to it. 

 

We really appreciate the chance and opportunity to be a service and blessing to the staff and patients at Tai An Hospital. And we hope that God will use this hospital to be a blessing to its community, just like God used 316 to be a blessing to the hospital.
